Manchester United were in trouble in at Atlanta’s Stadium until Cristiano Ronaldo came up with a stunning goal to save a point and their Champions League hopes.
The late equalizer by the Portuguese forward – his second of the game – is the difference between the Red Devils finishing third and first.
Throughout the Group F match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team trailed Gian Piero Gasperini’s, but Ronaldo was the difference, as he has been so many times before.
However, on this occasion, the difference was the difference between a well-deserved loss and a snatched point to keep their noses ahead of the pack.
