Kanye West’s Instagram account has been suspended for 24 hours after he used a racial slur against Trevor Noah, a South African comedian who accused him of harassing his ex, Kim Kardashian.

According to TMZ, Meta, which owns Instagram, stated that West’s deleted post violated policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying.

Noah, the comedian, argued that more people should pay attention to the story by saying…

“but not for the reason that you think. There’s also an element of a woman saying to her ex, ‘Please leave me alone. Two things can be true Kim likes publicity. Kim is also being harassed. I’m not saying Kanye will [do that] But as a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming? Or do we at least want to say, ‘Slow down, let’s all put our hazards on because there’s a storm coming and shit might go down. If Kim Kardashian cannot escape this, then what chance do normal women have?”

West is enraged that Kardashian, who was recently declared a single person by the court as part of the divorce process, is dating Pete Davidson, and has been venting on Instagram at the Saturday Night Live star.

“I’m really concerned that SKETE will get my kids mom hooked on drugs He’s in rehab every 2 months,”
He posted this on Wednesday morning, prompting Instagram to suspend his account.
