Barcelona move closer to Laliga tittle as Raphinha leads comeback against Celta Vigo
Barcelona kept their La Liga title hopes alive with a thrilling 4-3 comeback win over Celta Vigo on Saturday. Raphinha played the hero, scoring twice which includes a stoppage-time penalty—to help his side overturn a two-goal deficit.
Borja Iglesias netted a hat trick to give Celta a 3-1 lead with less than 30 minutes remaining. But Barcelona responded with a strike from a substitute Dani Olmo in the 62nd minute, followed shortly by Raphinha’s equalizer with a cross from another substitute Lamine Yama
The match looked headed for a draw until Olmo earned a penalty deep into injury time following a VAR review. Raphinha calmly converted from the spot to complete the dramatic turnaround.
The win pushes Barcelona seven points clear of Real Madrid, who play Athletic Bilbao on Sunday. At the final whistle, an elated Hansi Flick stormed onto the pitch to celebrate with Raphinha.
